Two years ago today....
I got up at 4:30am to get my hair done for four hours. It took me an hour to do my make up, and 1/2 hour to get dressed. We drove quickly to get to the temple, and had a nice afternoon taking pictures. Two years ago we greeted and mingled with friends at a nice fancy ballroom and laughed until our cheeks hurt. We had a peaceful car ride to the church, and had quiet dinner with friends and family.
Today...
I get up at 4:30am to put a binky back in or rock a baby to sleep. I'm lucky if I have even 20 minutes to put myself together, makeup or not. I drive quickly to places, just to make sure I get back in time for nap time, and anytime we take pictures we usually have to have a distraction to make a little boy smile. We still mingle with friends, but its usually at a park or McDonalds, and we still laugh 'till our cheeks hurt, but its probably because someone made a funny face or farted. Car rides consist of singing "Popcorn popping" a million times, and our idea of dining out and having a quiet dinner is bringing home Bajio (so Isaac can make all the noise he wants!).
And I wouldn't have it any other way!

Two years ago today I also married my best friend and am glad we are so lucky enough to be together forever! Happy Anniversary sweetheart!

Ahhh! I am the worst mother ever!!! I've been gone all day and the date did not hit me until I finally sat down to read your post at 10:30pm! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I love you all and miss you more than you could know!

Happy Anniversary! Isn't it crazy how different life becomes with the addition of a little one. But you're right, it's all for the better and we wouldn't change a thing.

I laughed out loud when I read this, totally relating to all of it! You guys are a great team, this morning I really wanted to come down and visit you two...:( it was really sad remembering we are several hundred miles away...few more months!
