Our Friday night

Last night my lovely took me to see Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band. Now, I'm not one for country very much but the tickets were only 5 bucks a person so who could beat that!? Cory found their cd while he was on his mish in WI for $0.50 and got it because they were from Ogden. I think he's listened to it once since then. So we busted it out just before we went and to me they sounded just ok. But really, a banjo? How much fun could that be?

Boy, was I wrong! They put on a great show and had some really good songs! Of course, I haven't been to a concert in like, forever. But I think its safe to say that we were both impressed and would definitely go again!

It was kind of funny during one of their songs they had everyone (3,500 people) stand up and do "head, shoulders, knees and toes". Something about a world record or something ;) Anyway, here's a clip that he got from the stage. (If you look close, you can see us on the left hand side. Ha, yeah right!)

Thanks for a great date babe and thanks Bushes for putting up with Isaac!

Awesome, we were so there too!!! We were way in the back. I didn't think he was actually going to put the video on youtube!! How hilarious. I already did an update on our blog about the concert, but now that I saw the vid, I'm going to add to ours as well if you don't mind!

I'm so glad you went. We went last summer and had a blast. They are so entertaining, but Spencer had to work this year so couldn't make it, so I'm glad someone I know did!

Did you guys see them at the Melaleuca Christmas party last year? I thought it was going to be totally lame (like it was the year before), but we totally loved the band! They are really fun and good entertainers!
