I'm going to apologize now for my excessive pictures, but there were just too many that I liked! Plus when you see how cute the kids are, you'll like them too.
Yesterday we wanted to seize the day so we called up our good friends and headed off to L.A. We had planned on going to see the walk of stars as well as
Guarman's theater and were pleasantly surprised to be right in the middle of the Academy awards! We had totally forgotten they were this weekened and it was so fun to see all the behind the scenes stuff. It was pretty crowded, but still fun.
Oscar himself.

Getting all set up. We even saw a glimpse of the red carpet!

In front of some Disney shop. Notice not one kid looking at the camera. Well, except Mickey of course.

The sidewalks were crowded so this was the only shot of a star I got. There were some cooler ones, I assure you but a lot were covered due to the Oscars and such.

At Guarman's Theater are the famous hand and shoe prints. That was really fun to see and compare. My hands are the same size as Frank Sinatra's!

Doing
ring around the rosies in the middle of it all.

We almost got mistaken for movie stars. Almost...

After all the chaos we strolled across the street to
Mel's Drive-In, waited too long for a table and ate mediocre food.

These two are inseperable. If they don't get married,
I'll be extremly upset.

They did have good malts though!
(And cute little kids to drink them!)
As we were leaving, Cory and I went to the front doors to help Amy get her limo of a double-stroller outside. As we stood there holding them open, a handful of people lead by a massive guy came streaming through them. He mumbled something like "thanks. Which door will I choose?!" to us and when he was a few feet away from us we realized that it was actor
Mike Starr from Dumb and Dumber (Joe Mentalino aka: one of the bad guys). Neat huh?!
(Our buddy Mike is the one in the middle)
Our cute friends the Rasmussens. (Michael, or Mi-mo, as Isaac calls him, Allen, Amy and Halle)

You could barely see the Hollywood sign through all the smog. Plus it was really far away.

Afterward we went to Santa Monica Pier again and mostly rode rides due to the weather. Still fun!
Do these two not make you smile?!
{Seriously, they're getting married.}
I had to add this because I think its the most darling picture!

And to end it all we got very dizzy on the carousel.
L.A., thanks for being so good to us!

That looks like so much fun! Glad you had a good weekend. And Isaac and his GF(hehe) are so adorable together.
How fun! We're getting really tired of winter here in Idaho. I'd love to be in California even for a day...you are one lucky girl Heather! (and might I add that I think Isaac is the cutest little guy I've ever seen!)
