Healthy Tip


I don't remember where I heard this before, but it is simply BRILLIANT!
Kids love mac & cheese, right? Well have you ever seen how much fat and how little protein are in it? Instead of adding butter and milk when the pasta is all cooked, put 1/2-3/4 cup cottage cheese in a blender or food processor, whip it up until it's smooth and add that to the pasta along with the cheese. Sounds crazy, but I even couldn't even tell the difference!

The result: creamier and better for you mac and cheese!

(It's the best with Annie's mac- FYI. But whatever suits your fancy)

ohhhh good idea, im so doing that next time we have mac and cheese...its been about a million years since ive had it!

I've got to say, I LOVE mac and cheese! Seriously, love it. I bought cottage cheese last night and I think this is on the lunch menu for today! :)Thanks for the great tip!
