What a weekend!

If anyone needed a weekend like this, we sure did. School, work, jobs, and life are becoming a bit stressful, and this weekend was pure fun and no worries. It was awesome! Not even pictured was our 3 1/2 hour nap, heaps of good food, and a clean(ish) house. Could life get any better? {I submit that it cannot!}

Friday night was our ward campout and we were pumped! We didn't go last year because we didn't know how Isaac would do, so we were itching for that campfire smell and dutch oven cobbler. It really turned out to be a successful trip, with hardly any rain, good friends, good food, and a full nights sleep. Isaac had so much fun in the dirt and being able to roam around, and had plently of friends to get into trouble with. Needless to say, we are definitely doing this soon. Actually, 4th of July weekend we're going. Any takers?

After packing up Saturday morning we hopped on our bikes and rode over to the annual airshow. (One thing I'll miss about Rexburg is all of the free fun stuff they have to do around here. Seriously, every week its something new. I love it!) There was so much to do and see, eat and touch. It was awesome! Isaac was getting tired and cranky and didn't like the loud planes and kept saying "no! no!" and clinging to us when they went overhead. (Insert 3.5 hour nap here)

(They had these yummy sweet corn things, slathered in butter and rolled in mexican cheese. YUMMMM!)
Then of course Sunday was Father's Day and it couldn't have gone any better. I've been saving up for a matching set of golf clubs for my sweetheart and got a great deal on a pretty nice set. I wanted to give it to him in a clever and surprising way and lets just say it had to do with climbing out the window, a computer chair, and lots of adrenaline! Oh, and Isaac picked out a pretty great tie for him too!

And a big happy father's day to our dads, grandpa's and brothers! You are all such wonderful examples and we love you!
