Last night Cory and I got out on a much needed date. Though, the things that make it most memorable aren't the movie we saw (which, sadly, wasn't as good as I wanted it to be) and the yummy food we ate (at the new Crossroads on campus. Aren't we cool.)
Scene #1: As we are standing in line to get our food, a few college guys are behind us. One comes up with a decedant piece of chocolate cake, smelling it loudly. The guy in front of him turns around and says (in a nasaly, nerdy voice) " I love chocolate cake. Those must be semi-sweet chocolate chips. I can tell." They proceed to argue about which chocolate is better- milk or semi-sweet, and how you can tell and how you can't get any good chocolate in America. Oh poor boys. I hope they don't talk about those things with girls, or they don't stand a chance.
Scene #2- In our movie we sat two rows in front of the most talkative guy in Rexburg, who decided it was his role in life to give commentary of the film to the entire audience. Nice work Mister. You predicted everything in the movie, and made it that less enjoyable.
Scene #3 (and my favorite)- In line at walmart getting ice cream, Cory and I were talking about just how large I get while with child. We laughed and joked about the things people had said to me in the past, and left it at that. Not one minute later, a guy behind us (married, mind you. Probbaly not with kids) asks me when I'm due. I told him not until Thanksgiving. His bug eyes got even bigger and he said- loudly- "Boy! I would have thought you were due to pop any day now! I can't believe it!" Jerk. As we walked away, I cursed his wife to get even BIGGER when she's pregnant. Take that.

hahaha, I love you heather! Your posts are always so entertaining! That dude was a pretty big jerk, and I am sending my powers along with yours to curse his wife with a huge belly! lol
Hey Heather! I love reading your blog. I know it's stalkerish, sorry. :) Maybe I'll save that movie for the Redbox. I was quite intrigued by the previews. You know what I've noticed is that once my belly pops out in all it's hugeness during pregnancy, it didn't get a whole lot bigger as those last couple of months drug on. So maybe that'll be how it is with you? I think you're adorable, no matter how big or small you are! Good luck!
HA! love it. i really like the chocolate convo....did I ever share the story: "I would know, I raised goats." guy that was in my stats class? Its awesome and similar to chocolate chips.
Love the third scene...the curse...lol!
hahahaha that's funny. I would have punched him though.
Then you aren't going to like it that Spencer asked me the other day when you were due, and I told him November, and he said, "Whoa! I thought it was sooner!"
That's OK though! I mean, be proud of that big belly! And I mean big in the nicest way possible! I think you're adorable pregnant!
sorry honey, I think you get the-pop all-out-front thing from your mother. Try to enjoy the attention and making people surprised:)
LOL You poor thing! ..WILL you PLEASE post an updated picture of the belly. PLEASE. I'm so excited for your little princess to come! So fun! Have you and Cory decided on a name yet? Or are you waiting to meet her first?!.. How exciting!!!!!
