With our little girl coming soon, it was inevitable that we were going to need a new bed for Isaac. I have heard horror stories about toddlers and their new beds, and was dreading the day when we had to make the switch. But I knew it had to be done, and had to be done before our little babe gets here or life would be a nightmare with all of the changes.
Luckily we have the best kiddo in the world, and he took to it like a champ. We hyped it up for a few days, and I even let him pick out the fabric he wanted for his blanket I was making him (even though I hated it) so he would get excited. And you know what? It all worked!
He hasn't gotten up to play with toys or escaped (knock on wood!), and the first few nights only woke up a couple times. He thinks he is SUCH big boy and loves his new bed!
I sure hope all of our kids are this easy!!

Madison loved switching to her big girl bed! we had no problems as well.! I hope that same thing keeps happening for you! He is to adorable and I love the bed!
Okay, Isaac is just too cute to be possible! I miss seeing all the kids in nursery. What a big boy for doing so good about switching to a big boy bed!
That's awesome! I'm so glad he did so well! Kyla took about 1 month to get used to her big girl bed but she's not one that likes big change most of the time. Anyway, go Isaac! he's adorable!
That blanket is awesome! You're so creative! Isaac is as cute as always :)
you know we never had a problem with Payton transistioning either. I think that when they are ready, it isnt a problem at all. I know that Payton enjoyed the extra space that his big twin bed provided, plus we can snuggle with him as well. I think that was a major plus.
Good Job to Isaac! The blanket turned out really cute even if you did hate the fabric.
