All I have to say was that was the hardest church meeting I have had in my life. I didn't realize how emotional I would be at leaving this great college ward, nor did I realize how much I have grown since we've been in the ward. Hard to believe that was almost 3 1/2 years ago! When you're in the moment, you don't really think about all of the great things happening to you, and going on around you. I just kind of went through life, taking things as they happened, so absorbed in my own self that I never stepped back to look at what wonderful opportunites and experiences I was having. And the great friends I was making.
I got so emotional in Relief Society during the closing song. I listened to all of the sisters singing together, and such a spirit came over me that I belonged to something great and that I really had an awesome group of girls around me. I was so grateful that most, if not all, of them were my friends who were there to support me and give me some of the greatest examples I have ever seen.
I cannot think of my friends without getting emotional. The tears just flow when I think of how blessed I have been with the people we have met up here. How did we get so lucky? I am really going to miss the security of our college home and having everyone at the same stage in life as us. I'm going to miss the spirit of service that always seemed to be around and the strength of women much greater than I sometimes feel I can ever be.
But I am excited to take all of those things, all of the feelings and my own strengths, and make new friends and hopefully be able to share with them a little bit of what my own life has been blessed with.

Such a true post. I still miss the 75th ward sisters. Everyone was in the same life situations, the spirit between the sisters was so loving and you always had someone you could rely on or call. And almost all your neighbors were your neighbors! You'll learn to love the non-student wards, but you'll still look back and wish that you had the 75th ward sisters with you.
*I meant almost all your neighbors were ward members. Whoops.
You will be such an example to those in your ward in Colorado too! You are meant to be there and the Lord will bless you with friends wherever you go! We will miss you but are so glad to have known you and learn from your example. Good luck with everything!
I could tell church was hard for you yesterday and I wanted to go give you a big hug after sacrament mtg, but I had to work and left church early. We will miss you, but we are so excited for you guys to be taking the next step in your life. It's very exciting and I'm kinda jealous! :-) Good luck! Oh, and let me know if you need any help this week.
You will be great in your new place! I know you will be, I do miss the play groups and talks. Good luck with everything. I am so glad to have met you. Thank goodness for blogs, we can still keep in touch!
Congratulations on the move... although I know how unbelievably stressful that is. Your baby girl is so beautiful... wouldn't expect any less! And the true spirit you carry with you all the time speaks volumes. This gospel is amazing, and I also have fealt so blessed soley because of it. If there's anything we can do to help from a distance, call me!
