I know this might not seem like anything compared to people in the midwest, but I thought the size of the hail today was pretty crazy! We apparently had a tornado warning around here and (unbeknownst to me) with that comes hail.
Surprisingly this one was just average size...there were some that were almost double in size! Coming from the NW where all I've ever really seen is rain falling out of the sky, it was pretty cool to look up and see thousands of ice balls plummeting to the ground. Just glad I was inside!!

Yeah, pretty cool until the damage your car! Do you have a carport or something? That hail is bigger than anything I've seen here! Scary!
I HATE STORMS, I seriously start to panic. I hope your Car was in a garage or under something. SCARY. You are brave at least that makes it fun for your kiddos. Mine would be like MOM what is happening are we dieing? LOL

That is crazy huge! I'd be scared to see those coming down. We haven't had anything like that yet but we're getting lots of storms lately. Monsoon like rain, thunder and lightening nonstop. I love it too!!
Sheesh that is hugh! I too am glad you were inside. That could do some major damage!
holy stiiiiiink.. thats a BIG piece of hail!! doesn't it scare you to have tornado warnings? I'm not down with that. I'll keep my canadian blizzards haha

Hope you have covered parking, that stuff'll kill your car. We get it all the time out here. My brother was taking the trash out last time it hailed. At first he thought my sister threw something at him...he figured it out pretty quickly, but not before the trash spilled all over the driveway as he raced inside.
