I just love my mom. And so far every year she has come out for our birthdays and we love it! It does help that our birthdays all fall within a month of each other, so it works out perfect. We always manage to cram every spare minute with fun, and we rarely sleep.
And when she and I get together we take about a bajillion pictures. So here are about 1/8th of them!

Day one we headed to the zoo. Even though the high for the day was supposed to be around 70, it was freeeeezzziiinng that morning. Thank heavens for the sunshine though!! The highlight of the whole trip was the train, of course, and up second was feeding the birds popcorn.

Celebrating birthdays...I insisted on the giant cake from Costco and we ate less than 1/4th of it! Its gigantic! Audrey loved it, as you can see. Or maybe that was just the candles? The kids loved their presents from Grandma even more than the sweets though.
We love you gramma Jan! Thanks for coming out and spending a few days with us. Next time, tell grandpa to come (and stay longer)!
