Well where to start, eh? A few weeks ago we realized that we haven't been back to Utah in a looonnng time and with busy season approaching we thought we'd snatch up a free weekend and set off. It was a surprise to Cory's mom, which made it even better!
The drive out there went fine. When you haven't taken a long road trip for awhile, the drive almost seems exciting (for a little bit anyway). Driving through WY was windy. I thought the doors of our car were going to blow off! About halfway through the middle of no where we heard a thumping on top of our car. As we were pulling over to check it out, Cory saw our built-in luggage rack fly off the back! It was so windy it snapped the front part off and tore it apart!
We wasted no time in getting out in the sunshine and green grass....

LOVING conference. I'm always amazed at the beauty of the Conference Center. My sister Haylee and I got to go to the Saturday morning session after we went out to a yummy breakfast!
Cousin Hannah was there and the kids were entertained by each other (halleluja!)
Love BOTH of these girls...
Hahaha...I am still laughing looking at this. Audrey is a little climber lately and must have thought trying to climb on the desk from the rolling computer chair would be a great idea. And then she got stuck! (I was right behind the chair while Cory was taking the picture. I'm not completely negligent)
And its safe to say they were tired out from all the late nights and fun we had!

So fun to just pack up and go visit family! :) I can't believe your cartop carrier flew off! Was all your stuff okay?
It was so good to see you guys even if it was just for a bit! Next time we really need to plan a big overnight get together! Our kids would have a blast together. Be glad you came when there was green grass cause now there is yucky snow!
I'm so jealous you got to go to conference and I can't believe how much your sister looks like you! Wow!
