Early Birdie...

(I know, who in their right mind would take a picture IN the hospital?!)

Yesterday was quite an adventure to say the least! All day I had been feeling yucky cramps so I decided to call my doctor. Unsure if it was pre-term labor, they addmitted me to the hospital just to be safe. I figured we'd be in and out in like 2-3 hours. HA! After hooking me up to monitors and taking blood, they found that I was having contractions and that I was SO dehydrated. After shots and IV's didn't seem to do very much, they decided that they would do an amniocentesis (ouch!) and give me a few more shots. And if all that didn't work or come back negative, they would have to fly me down to SLC to start having this baby, 10 weeks early. Luckily, after hours of waking me up to poke, prod and check me, things are looking wonderful. I've been released from the hospital and only have to go back for one more shot (hopefully nothing else). And the best part is they're not worried about medications, or bed rest or anything. The Lord really does answer prayers! Anyway, I'll keep more coming but hopefully nothing else happens for a few more weeks to our Early Birdie!

Oh my goodness! Keep drinking water and take it easy for crying out loud! Having an early baby is no walk in the park. Keep that sucker in there! =) I of course would LOVE to take pictures of your sweet baby- IN TEN WEEKS WHEN HE IS DUE! =) Keep me posted!

HEATHER! That is so scary! I'm glad everything worked out okay. Just wait a few more weeks until I'm up there so I can take care of you. :)
