Haha...so I was looking up words that I could use as todays title. Here is the definition for remedy: "something that corrects or removes an evil of any kind."
I would consider no sleep definitely evil! Not that we got perfect sleep last night, but I think we've finally done it! He has taken a liking to sleeping on his stomach, which scares me to death. But now that he knows how to roll over there's no stopping him! But the stomach sleeping seems to be going well! We only had to get up about 4 times last night and I think thats how we're going to be stuck for awhile. But, its progress and he is happier when he wakes up now. Couldn't ask for more!

Thats great he is doing better! I think I need your number. I thought I had it on the back of that pampered chef catalog, but I think Braeden threw it away. We were talking to Bren and decided we should all get together and have a BBQ sometime. Email me your number so I can call you! Isaac is so cute.. he has the cutest little smile!
that is so awesome to hear, your little family is growing up so fast, I love the new Family pic on the side bar!!
It's so tough to go through an adjustment period with sleep...really tough. Way to stick it out! PROUD OF YA!
WOO HOO!! Glad that things are going better. Madison always hated being swaddled even in her first month!! and always was sleeping on her stomach. To the point to compromise so that i would sleep at night and not be freaking out the whole time. I would put her on her side and stuff a blanket behindher back to keep her from going completely on her stomach until she learned how to roll herself! So I know the worry part for sure!! They sure do grow up fast though don't they!
I waited until Leavi( my first) was 9 months old to get her to sleep through the night...BIG MISTAKE! It was so hard to hear her cry so much. It took 2 weeks and she was finally doing it but it was all night, no wake ups so it was definately worth it! An engouraging book to read is Healthy sleep habits Healthy baby, It helped me so much...wish I would have read it sooner but with my next baby, Jaydn, he slept 8 hours per night by the time he was 3 months old. I ma proud of you for trying, don't give up, it is very well worth it! Good job!!!!
ha! whenever Issac is doing bad, Lily does great, she slept through the night last night for the first time in a LONG time. Keep it up Issac!
Heather,
I saw your blog through your mom's and just read your post about little Issac and sleep. I SO understand what you're going through and how hard it is and sleep deprivation just makes it worse! We read Healthy Sleep Habits Healthy Child and it really helped us with Nora. I would recommend it. Everyone is so much happier when they're rested. His ideas are difficult but it really is worth it. When we started implementing his suggestions, Nora learned the sleep through the night in only a few days and has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 months. Give it a try if you think it's right for you and your family :)
And I added you to my site so I'll send you an invite to mine!
