We've been busy!

Here are just a few things that have taken up our summer-like days!

Going to the park! On Saturday we got up and headed to Porter park, walked around down town, and went to get some yummy Great Harvest Bread. We hit a garage sale on the way, and have decided that this is what our Saturday mornings will consist of! The weather is beautiful! We're excited to have the carousel and the splash park open, although that one will take some getting used to for a certain little boy!

Visiting CUTE babies! Congrats to our friends John and Trina on their new darling little Melanie. Isaac has already fallen in love, but we need to wait a few more months so he doesn't squish her!
Grilling! We bought a new bbq a few weeks ago and have used it tons! We love, love, love it and its been a great investment for sure. Last night we made chili-lime chicken cabobs, with homemade guacamole and chips. Can you say delicious?! Check out the recipes here. Anyone wanna come over for some steaks? :)

Turning 7 months old! Can you believe it? Time flies!

Getting new teeth. This is a blessing and a curse at the same time. He's more ready to eat solid, chunky food, but WAY more grumpy! But I would be too, poor kid. He already has five, and has two more poking through. And, call me crazy, but I checked this morning and I think he's getting two more on top of that! I think he's getting his top two cuspids, but I can't quite tell. I guess we'll find out in a couple weeks!

And, after our long, fun days, this is usually what awaits me....such is life!

Those kabobs sound delicious and I copied and pasted the recipe so we can try them, our BBQ is ancient but I think it still works this year? Your kitchen looks clean compared to mine...Monday yuckiness:) Cutting teeth is ever so fun!

Such is life is a great way to put it! Just think you only have two people actually eating "real food" just image those of us with four people eating it gets ten times the size. But when you look at cute kids like yours then it is worth all the time and buddles to clean up right?!

Dishes are usually what awaits me at the end of a long day too! All the fun and then the clean up at the end...motherhood. Issac is getting so big and it so so cute. Those kabobs looks so good-Ryan wants a grill so bad, but we just don't have a place for it! Once we get one though-those kabobs sound like a good first meal to test it out on!

Those kabobs look SUPER yummy, especially because I started South Beach on Monday and my new best friends are protein (sp?) and veggies! We'll have to try them! Oh, and Isaac is just so darn cute! We miss him so much! See you in a few weeks!
