So we finally made it to Washington! It was a long adventure, but suprisingly fun and too stressful.
We left Rexburg at noon, drove to Cory's parents house in Tremonton and hung out for a while, to stretch and whatnot. Around 4:30 we took the hour drive to the airport, giving us plently of time to check in with a baby. We skycapped everything and that took all of 5 minutes, so we still had awhile before our 7:45 flight left. After lots of snacks and walking around, we were told that our flight was delayed another two hours! Are you serious?! Fortunately we have been blessed with the easiest and best baby on the planet and we just enjoyed the extra time we had to ourselves. Our flight left at 9:50pm and we arrived in PDX at 10:30 (pacific time). Isaac slept the whole time, and woke up just in time to land and see all the lights.
But we're here and we're happy, despite the rough nights sleep. The humidity is hard to get used to, and we woke up to grey, foggy, northwest-weather skies. We'll try to keep updated throughout the week, but I can't make any promises. Until then!
