Crazy weather today. Rain in the morning and perfectly cozy. By lunch it was 55 degrees and I had all my windows open with a cool spring breeze joining us for lunch.
Laid the kids down for naps and ate my lunch in peace.
Within 10 minutes it was almost as dark as night, with hail the size of golf balls. Lots of thunder and lightening, which reminded me of living in New Jersey when I was three.
I ran and got Isaac and we sat on the balcony and watched the storm pour down (since he wasn't napping anyway....) He thought it was awesome, even though he was half naked and it was freezing.
The storm passed, and now I am slightly regretting that decision to let him leave his room because an unnapped toddler is not so fun.
But hey, the sun is back out, and I have cars to go play.

Jealous of that weather! I love when the weather magically changes from one thing to the other. I saw hail the size of golf balls for the first time ever about 2 summers ago and it was so cool. Here in Halifax we don't see hail too often. We're not very extreme here. Ha.
We probably did meet at Jen's wedding but unfortunately I stink bigtime, and don't remember who I met and who I didn't. I think I met a bunch of the Dunford's extended family too from Utah but can I keep them all straight? Nope. I was so shy that day, that I just tried to smile and say hi to whoever Jeremy introduced me too. We'll re-meet someday though and because of blogging and Jen's facebook album, we'll be insta-friends. Thats just what the internet does to people. Oh and of course insta-sister-in-laws. I'll take your word that your like family. You seem to be pretty cool like Jen =)
Thanks for your congrats and I will continue to love reading about poop and spit up because you write it all so well! haha
Hope the sun sticks around for the rest of your day!
I was thinking that you're a much more fun mom since you got him too watch... then I kept reading and realized you have the same challenge I would have! (Oh, and a HUGE congrats... and a little jealousy... on the bottle taking!)
I am always bad about responding back to comments people leave on my blog, so I am trying to be better. It is crazy how quick they pick things up! It goes by so quick. How are you and your kids doing?
Wow- sounds way better than Rexburg weather! You are such a fun mom to take advantage of little things like that!
