Monday Ritual

Can I just say that the guy in the above picture is the greatest? I hate (hate, hate, hate) folding the laundry. You really couldn't pay me a thousand bucks to do it (maybe $100,00 though), but alas it has to get done.

Enter our Monday ritual. I do the 4+ loads of laundry during the day, and Cory will fold all of it while he watches whatever is on ESPN. Its a win-win really. And I'm totally ok with it. Especially when I get to sit by the fireplace and read all night!

You've got to be kidding me. this is exactly what we do. and on monday too!!! I do the loads and he folds them watching his sports. I was totally going to brag about this but I am too late! I'm so happy.

This is such a great idea! Preston usually ends up folding ours too while watching TV because I HATE it too. I'll wash a million loads, but when it comes to folding - the clothes sit in the baskets until we've used them all and they're in the dirty clothes again! Ha! Miss you guys!

Do call me! I miss YOU!!! Amelia saw a picture of Isaac and Audrey (For the life of me I can't remember where now... on your blog maybe?) and kept saying Audrey & Isaac. It's cute she remembers their names. I thought about calling you several times but didn't have anything interesting to say and didn't want to feel too needy.
We are having a good time. But, (there's almost always a but, isn't there?) Today was just a hard/off day. I'm having a hard time adjusting to being in someone else's space and the kids aren't getting along (at all) with their cousin who we watch 3x a week. So I was quite emotional today and broke down on the phone to sweet Isaac saying I'm going to have to find an apartment, blah, blah, blah... But all is well now.
Do you ever feel like you have to break down to make it back to normal? Like you have to hit the bottom to realize floating on the surface ain't so bad. (Notice how I'm already pickin' up the Southern lingo--ain't) It's only been a week since we got here and I've hit just about every emotion. ;) But, life is GOOD! And despite everything I just wrote, I truly mean that!!! :0 Can't wait to hear from ya! Did I mention we miss ya?

That is so us. Except I wait until there's 10 loads and Trev can't stand it any more. Truth be told, I think he's put away laundry 99% of our marriage!
