Cory and I usually have a date night once a week, but for various reasons we haven't had one for two weeks, and won't have one for another 3 weeks. So last night we had a date-in. I have been craving sushi (well, who am I kidding....its a california roll!) lately and my sweet husband (who hates seafood) agreed to trying his hand at making some.
Have you ever watched a youtube video on how to roll sushi? They make it look easy peasy. Not so!
Our sad attempt...but they still tasted delicious!! Mmm...wishing I had some more made right now!
I loved it...Cory is always willing to try something once and he looked like he was about to hurl after the first chomp. But I love him for trying!
In other news...Isaac is playing soccer at the rec center this year and is LOVING it! They definitely have three year old attention spans, and mostly just kick the balls at the cones, the wall, across the dividers...We're hoping that by the end of the season they can maybe stay focused enough to play a 10 minute game!
We've gotta work on the form a little :)

I think your sushi looked really good, but you'd never get me to make it- I hate the stuff! Rob would come eat it with you though! I love watching little kids play sports- HILARIOUS.
poor Cory! I'm not a sushi fan either, so when he comes to visit, no worries there:) Glad Isaac's enjoying soccer! That would be fun to watch:)
