Utah take ONE

Towards the beginning of September we took a quick trip out to Utah to hang out with family and help Cory's mom celebrate the big 6-0.

The only flights we could find with the super good deal we found left Denver at 6:30am, which meant we had to leave our house around 4:30am. The kids did awesome though, and since we didn't tell them where we were going until we got to the airport were super excited about everything!

{Hanging out, finishing breakfast}

The kids don't really remember the last time they flew so it was hilarious to watch their reactions. Isaac could. not. stop. talking. The whole way there. He had the people around us laughing pretty good too!

Once we got in and picked up our rental car we did the temple square thing. The kids were really excited to see the "big Jesus statue" and that was the highlight of their day I think.

My sister Haylee. She lives right across the street from Temple Square and played our tour guide/babysitter. She rocks.

{Waiting for Trax}

This little boy was in heaven watching all the trains go around town, and was even more so when he got to ride on TWO of them!

We got to Utah just in time for Peach Days too! Cory was pretty bummed he missed the Box Elder Fair, so this was the next best thing. Those Utah people really do know how to throw a party!

On Sunday we took it easy and went walking on the train tracks. Love those summer days in Tremonton!

{This picture cracks me up! If they weren't cousins, I would say this would be an awesome engagement photo!}

On our last full day we snuck up to Rexburg. We hadn't been back since moving a year a half ago and a whole lot has changed. Luckily some of our most favorite people were living there still and almost convinced us to move back. Almost.

{Heaven on Earth right here....Mmm!}

So so glad I got to see this girl! One of my very bests who help me get through those dang winters and whiny toddlerhood.

I loved loved loved having everyone meet at Craigo's for dinner. We seriously have the best friends, and they are the ONLY reason I would ever live there again.

And our cute kiddos (plus one happy-to-be-here Isaac)

Saying goodby to Uncle Jordy. Loved every minute of our crazy week in Utah!
