On Friday of spring break Cory took the day off and we drove down to OKC for a nights stay so we could go to the temple. Our friends the Gutzmans came down with us so we could swap with them and we played as well!
First stop was the Science Museum Oklahoma. We have been here before since our pass for the wichita museum gets us in for free. Its huge and so much fun! We spend 3.5 hours here and didn't make it to everything.
Bed of nails
This room made me so dizzy so I had to send Cory back in to get pictures!
After the museum we checked in at the hotel and had pizza with friends and went swimming. While the hotel was nice, the pool was super small, and someone decided to have a birthday party (with giant floaties?!) while we were there. It was NUTS! I think the kids were completely oblivious though and they swam their hearts out.
Movie + popcorn, and LOTS of jumping on the bed!
After we swapped sessions Saturday morning, both families were pretty tuckered out so we headed for home. On our way back we stopped at Pops, a gas station on route 66 that sells over 600 kinds of soda! We all picked one that sounded interesting, but not too interesting ;) (cookie dough, strawberry jam, fru fru berry, alien juice, and hippo black cherry...no ones been brave enough to get buffalo wing, kitty piddle, cucumber, or bacon)
