Here's a picture I forgot to include last time. This is how we drove from Rexburg to California- 3 of us in the U-haul. It really was fun and we had lots of laughs and memories made. Isaac LOVED it because I was at his every beckon call and he could see out the front. He was in heaven (minus being strapped into his seat).
Some stats from our trip:We've driven through 7 states in 8 days
stayed in 2 hotels
eaten out 12 times (and we're SICK of fast food)
found 10 bugs in our new apartment
watched kung fu panda 3 times
drove 25 mph through the snow today because apparently Oregon only owns 5 snow plows
got here after an 11 hour drive (which was supposed to only take 6.5 hours)
but we're here and we made it. Thank goodness for chains and prayers! Here are some pictures from our journey.
Bubbles. The most entertaining thing in the car. I highly recommed it.
The snow is pretty, but only to look at.
It was so icy toward the end of our drive that our wipers froze and this was literally the view from the winshield. Scary!I am extremly gratful that we made it safely and grateful for Cory who puts up with my nagging and drives SO well. I hope you all travel safely during these crazy storms!
