We've been really blessed to have such great friends here, especially ones with kids the same age as ours! Some of those good friends invited us to come along to the Littleton Museum and of course we jumped on the idea!
Always curious....
This place is a museum/farm and they had cows, chickens, sheep, mules, geese and even a peacock!
I liked to call this one the "bloomer chicken" because he/she looked like it had on bloomers!
And I just about all but up and moved to this cute little house. I loved that you could go inside and actually touch and see up close the things they have on display. The 1800's are so amazing to me, and I'd like to think if I was born then I would have mostly enjoyed it :)

I'm sorry you guys drove all the way down there and didn't get to see any of the balloons fly. It was pretty cool, but I think the kids would have rather just slept in. I hope your lemon morning didn't sour the rest of your holiday!
